Bishop Carlis L. Moody Sr, President, International Churches of God in Christ, has dedicated more than thirty-five years of his life to foreign missions. He promised the Lord that if He would send him to the nations, he would go.  Since January 26, 1970, Bishop Moody has faithfully kept that promise! He tirelessly travels the globe, sharing the gospel, character and nature of Jesus Christ!  Whether in the backwoods of Orissa, India or the South African jungle, Bishop Moody unselfishly gives of himself to God’s people, offering them the only hope - Jesus! Because of his devotion to foreign missions, millions of lives, in more than forty countries, have been touched by the saving, healing, forgiving, delivering and sanctifying power of Jesus Christ! To God be the Glory!

Youth On A Mission (YOAM)

In January 1979, Bishop Carlis L. Moody Sr., President of the Department of Missions for the Church Of God In Christ Worldwide, established the Youth On A Mission auxiliary. The goal of this auxiliary is to minister to youths and adults in foreign countries. Since the summer of 1979, Youth On A Mission has devoted 2-4 weeks of each summer in support of that goal. During the last decade, Youth On A Mission has had the privilege of building (churches, homes, orphanages, and schools) and evangelizing (medicine, medical treatment clinics, clothing, food, vacation bible school, training sessions, street evangelism) in the following countries:

We are committed to serving the natural and spiritual needs of those less fortunate than ourselves (Matthew 25:31-40).
